So you want to make it to the finals of the Halo 4 Global Championship? You’re in for some STIFF competition. Already as of 4:19 pm PST the top ten have a perfect 8 score, with a minimum win count of 30.Remember ONLY the top FOUR make it to the finals. That stands at 41 1st place finishes.
Wettimage has a commanding lead with 66 wins, 15 more than second place xStr8 SicK who has a 9 game lead on third place.
Whew, okay, I’m just going to play for the heck of it. I have ZERO chance of making it to the finals. I know I’m not this good at Halo. And to think, we’ve still got FIVE more days to go! I wonder how many games you’re going to need to have 1st place finishes by then? I”ll keep posting standings once a day at least or more frequent as I see the leaderboards change. Keep checking back here at HFFL for updated and continuing coverage of the Halo 4 Global Championship tournament.

Im with you Sal, for fun it is!!!! Maybe win bonus prize or something who knows.
I’m just curious if weekly prizes are awarded randomly or if you need to be in the top bracket of players? If it’s the latter, then I would have no reason to play in that playlist at all.
I think its funny they were talking about not making it a grinding game. But from the look of it, its turning out to be that way. Some people are just really good but actually have a life. I think they need to do it where in your first 20 games and it’ll be make it or break it.
The problem is, there are already so MANY people that have 20+ games with 1st place finishes. This IS about skill, and also unfortunately about the grind of how many games you can get in. It’s about finding the most skilled Halo players. And now also the most “dedicated.” Meaning those who have the time to play the game more frequently. Yeah, it sucks for others… I wish I was even in that category that could win 20 games of this. Sadly, I’m no where near that good, so it’s a moot point with me.
