Mega Bloks is widely known for it’s expertly sculpted and very well articulated micro action figures. This year, we are getting PLENTY. Next up in my continuing coverage of Halo Mega Bloks are mid sized vehicles/ships. We have a new Gausshog and Banshee coming! Seems I was misled about the Banshee not being called that, or perhaps there will be a name change and it just couldn’t be said. Mattel is new to the Halo franchise. When they acquired Mega Brands (makers of Mega Bloks) last year, we didn’t know what to expect of them. Well, now we know. They are producing a series of Halo dart guns under their ‘BOOMco” brand. At Toy Fair, they showed off a Plasma Pistol, Magnum, SMG, Carbine, and a VERY cool Needler.

It’s been awhile since McFarlane Toys brought out any new Halo action figures. Finally, the wait is just about over. Any day now four of these awesome figs will be dropping into retail shelves near you! Beyond Halo 4, series 3, we will also be getting Master Chief and Spartan Locke later this year. AND for the first time ever, McFarlane will be making a 10 inch Halo figure. Once again it’s Locke and WOW does it look amazing!

So people have questions about the tank seen at Toy Fair. Allow me to answer some questions for you. For one, it’s NOT called a Scorpion. This I was told directly by Mega. Doubtful they’d mislead me on that. The camouflage bloks have a better mix of colors as noted by the pics below. Only the Red Spartan and Blue Elite come with the set.
