Well, it appears there is another forge map as well that we will get in the beta. Pegasus!
Inlike Red Bull which gives you wings, this map instead gives you plenty of opportunity for ground pounding as evidenced in the video.
Again, the textures are simple and again, I’m fine with that. It makes the map look CLEAN, which I like. One thing to note is the cylinders on the map. While we’ve had round objects in the past, they have been few and far between. Looks like 343 is taking a step in the direction and that can only be a good thing for Halo forgers like myself.
This vid also comes from IGN, via 343:
Okay, can week 3 hurry up and get here? LOL

Well that confirms forge for Halo 5? The map looks really fun and open, i look forward to playing on it when they release it. The rocket launcher seemed deadly. To me the hydra is inaffective unless you actuelly get a lock on, but thats probs just me cause im not the best at it lol. Light rifle Looks/Sounds amazing, but not a fan of the big light beam that comes out of it.. lil too big.
Fun Beta so far, ive been loving breakout.
Yeah, the Hydra takes a little getting used to. If you spam the trigger and send out a bunch of missiles, you might get a kill. I’m hoping this weapon gets a good tweak before the full release of the game.
Really? Was thinking the Hydra might be overpowered, too. The Hydra does sound like Halo: Reach’s Plasma Launcher; not very effective. The rocket launcher looks like you can fire it twice before reloading, or is it just me?
Now that the Week 3 maps are out, I had a chance to play on Pegasus, and I think the map looks and plays awesome. The objects that are in it will really give forgers something new to play with.
The rocket launchers still a two-shot, but is magazine-fed. I didn’t notice much of a difference between the traditional Halo rocket launcher and this new one. I don’t know if there was a reason to change the design other than wanting a different look. I don’t think it is bad but some will balk at the change.
