This is the first in a series of articles that will show you the original REQ cards at Halo 5’s launch.
The background colors of the card denote their rarity. The ranges are from Common, Uncommon, Rare, Ultra Rare, and Legendary. The text under each entry is the added text 343 put in, when you click on the cards at HaloWaypoint.
We start with Stances:
- Freedom isn’t free.
- There at the close.
- Ready to rock.
- There are worse places to die.
- The breakwater.
- Points of light in an infinite darkness.
- Make it so.
- The flames of war climb higher.
- Keep It Clean.
- Blindsided and bushwhacked.
- Heroes arrive fashionably late.
- You are free to engage.
- They’ll never see you coming.
- In death, peace.
They look okay but I don’t really see why some are more rare than others. For Legendary cards, I don’t think Flank and Peacemaker are the best stances but that is subjective. Last Stand is hilarious though. Halo 4’s Last Stand looks a bit better in my opinion.
Stances are kind of strange to be put into rarity categories. Unless the Spartan is doing some kind of contortionist pose that not the average human can do, I can’t see the reason for rarity. But meh…not really a big deal to me.
