And on with the pics! (Click pics to make BIGGER)The box art/display is well done. You see nearly everything included in this set. The back shows which armor belongs to which Spartan type. MB Spartan Armor custom BOX

Here are the contents out of the package. The only things not shown through the plastic bubble when the package is unopened are the two figure stands.MB Spartan Armor custom contents

There are only two weapons with the set. I’m a bit curious as to why a silenced SMG was included here. Better to have had an AR or BR. Silenced SMGs are usually reserved for ODSTs as they are well known for carrying them, not Spartans.MB Spartan Armor custom accessories

Since two sets of armor are the same, except for the color, I’m showing those together.

First the Defender armor. I do have to say I’m VERY happy that Mega came out with this armor. It was one of my favorites from Halo 4 that also happened to cross over into Halo 5.MB Spartan Armor custom Defender

Next the Warrior armor. Always a nice choice.MB Spartan Armor custom Warrior

Lastly the two armors that are different. Blue gets an Oceanic set while the grey gets Gungnir. I much prefer the Gungnir armor to the Oceanic. The reason is that the black cross hair on the Oceanic is always painted too thick for my tastes. The armor itself is nice though.MB Spartan Armor custom Oceanis-Gungnir

Summary: There is no build time with this set. It’s ready to display/play with right out of the package. Having the choice to swap armor is always welcome. A bit slim on weapons. As for color choice, they can never go wrong with blue as it’s a multiplayer team color. While the grey with speckles isn’t in the game, it really works for me. I LIKE it!

Overall Rating: I give this set 9 out for 10 medals.

Why did I give it a 9 out of 10?
• A half point off for only having 2 weapons, not to mention one of those being a silenced SMG which goes with ODSTs not Spartans.
• The other half point for the black paint cross hair on the Oceanic visor. It’s way to thick, IMO. I had to look through a few of these sets to find the best of them. Still not completely satisfied.

Value: At $8, this set is good value. Figs alone are worth $6-$6.50 of that. With the remainder you get FOUR more sets of armors, a couple of weapons, two figure stands and the two armor crates. I’d say that’s worth the extra $1.50-$2.

Do I recommend it?  YES! This of course will depends on your liking the color choice as well as the armor choice. As I like to have one of EVERY Spartan, it was a must for me.
