Special Halo 2 Themed HFFL Community Night tonight! 11/7/14

Tonight to usher in the Halo Master Chief Collection, HFFL will be holding a special Halo 2 themed Community Night. We’ll be playing on maps in halo 4 that have been dutifully made to look like Halo 2 maps.

I’ll have as close to Halo 2 settings as possible. While it won’t be the exact thing, it will be somewhat close. This is in part to get you prepared for the maps and again a way to honor the upcoming release of the HMCC!

Start time is 8 pm EST. I have this planned for 3 hours, however, if people want to continue on past that, I’m all for it!

Halo Master Chief Collection Achievement Guideline: Part 2 Halo CE Anniversary Achievements

Hi folks. This article is the second in a series of articles that will go over a section of the achievements for the Halo Master Chief Collection. Since there are 450 of them, I thought it prudent to break them down into smaller chunks. Today we look at the Halo CE Anniversary Achievments.

This is just a guideline of course. You may find other ways to get these achievements. It’s just my way of helping you through this massive list.

The Halo Bulletin 11-7-14: Your Journey Begins

At the time of this writing, there are approximately five days left until the 11th day of November. In past years, this date may not have held great significance, but if you’re like us, you may have had a figurative “X” on the calendar since June of this year.

In just five days’ time, experiences both familiar and new await. On its 10-year anniversary, Halo 2 will return to Xbox Live, and bring with it a broad package of games and content. A newly re-mastered Campaign as well as a suite of re-mastered multiplayer maps have been prepared in Halo 2: Anniversary. Halo: Combat Evolved will make its Xbox Live debut, and perhaps even provide an opportunity for some of you to play the game that started it all for the first time. Halo 3 and Halo 4 (along with all other titles) will make their Xbox One debut in full HD at 60fps. The Halo Channel will be your new home for entertainment and programming, including the first episode of Halo: Nightfall. In addition, new terminals, hundreds of achievements, and more await. Your journey is about to begin, and we hope you’re as excited as we are.
