About Sal

I’ve got tons of experience with Halo gaming and collecting. I feel I have something to offer to the greater Halo fan community. Posts along the way will be about tips and tricks in the games as well as collecting and many more Halo related things. I’ll also repost interesting articles from the official site, Halowaypoint.com, or from fellow Halo fan sites. As I continue this blog, I hope to help gamers who want advice on the games, as well as any collectors with regards to where to find collectibles as well as deals, coupons and so on. You can also follow me on Twitter at: http://twitter.com/#!/HaloFanForLife or Facebook at: http://www.facebook.com/halofanforlife11. Announcing HFFL’s charity partnership with Operation Supply Drop!

OSD logo WI’m very happy to announce the HFFL now has an alliance with Operation Supply Drop (OSD).

Halo Reach to be FREE! (Games with Gold)

XboxLive_GamesWithGold_EN_RGB
Halo Reach will be free to download from September 16-30. This is absolutely the time to get the game. Even if you already have it on disc, the ability to switch to the game without having to load another disc makes this worth downloading.Reach_Keyart_Horizontal_Final_620Here’s the blurb form XBOX.com:

In preparation for the ultimate Halo: The Master Chief Collection, set to release on Xbox One this holiday, Xbox 360 owners can experience the prequel to the Master Chief’s storyline in Halo: Reach. Relive the tragic and heroic story of Noble Team, a group of Spartans, who through great sacrifice and courage saved countless lives in the face of impossible odds. The planet Reach is humanity’s last line of defense between the encroaching alien alliance known as the Covenant and their ultimate goal, the destruction of Earth. If it falls, humanity will be perched on the brink of destruction. /End

To download you can do so through the marketplace on your XBOX 360, or follow this link to the online marketplace: http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Product/Halo-Reach/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8024d53085b

Again, this won’t be available for free until Sept 16, so make a note of it. I’ll be looking for Firefight players (actually, I’m looking for you now).

Also, if anyone needs help with Campaign achievements, let me know.
