Latest XBOX 360 mag says you can play as a “Promethean Mega Chief”???

Blog subscriber. Thomas Bradford, points out that in the new XBOX 360 magazine there is some VERY interesting information regarding “Halo 5.” I can’t confirm this, ATM, so take with a grain of salt.

Hey HFFL, Just finished reading the latest edition of the Xbox 360 magazine and in the halo Xbox One section of the magazine the people at Xbox 360 magazine played a bit of halo 5 and said the game looks incredible but game-play isn’t good at the moment. They also said that chief is fighting hurdles of Promethean’s and said that the massive forerunner in the trailer is also a Promethean. They also confirmed that spartan ops is not continuing in halo games and then they gave something away saying ‘ become one with a Promethean and turn into mega chief”. They briefly described Halo Xbox One as the master chief returns to battle the Promethean’s in the Xbox one’s first ever Halo game. They also talked about destiny and all other Xbox One launch titles and planned games.

If this is all true then we’re fighting Prometheans again.Spartan Ops not coming back…sigh. My worst fear for it confirmed, possibly.

The one line he says about “become one with a Promethean and turn into Mega Chief” is very VERY interesting and odd at the same time. I wonder what that could mean.

If anyone out there can confirm this is in the mag, PLEASE send my pics/scans so I can post as proof.

I want to publicly thank Sal DiPietro. (Yes, another “Sal”) In the past few weeks he’s lent me his copy of Silentium, gave me a copy each of the Halo 4 OST Vol2 and Forward Unto Dawn OST, as well as made a generous donation to the blog. He happens to be a local fellow to, so I had the pleasure of meeting him in person at a Barnes and Noble where we sat down for coffee and chatted about Halo for almost two hours.

Sal, my man, I’m afraid you’ve made a friend for life…
