  1. I cannot wait for these three! This is such a great series and it is tying together threads throughout Halo Lore, which I find fascinating. The cover art is great on all of these, but frankly I am just waiting for #5. Two words: BOOSTER FRAME!!!!!

I really find it amazing that I have not been this excited for a comic series since I was a kid. A great job by Darkhorse!

    • Heh, I KNEW you’d love the Booster Frame! What I’m loving about this is that they’re showing armor weapons and vehicles from all of the Halo games. They are tying it all together! THIS is what we needed as Halo fans. None of the isolationist nature that Halo 4 was producing. Escalation is embracing the complete Halo universe, not just 343’s game style.

  2. OMG The Vulture is on the cover of number 4!!! Also if the spirit of fire comes back then it would leave a big twist in the storyline as the crew might have a bit of history to learn after Halo wars, never know we might see them again. Halo wars 2, who knows!

    • Oh yes, I made note of that too. Amazing, considering I just covered GoodwillHunter’s mini-Mega Bloks Vulture build. Bringing the Vulture AND the Spirit of Fire back into contemporary Halo lore is a GREAT decision, IMO.

  3. These comic books have everythign! I love how there bringing back so many past characters, weapons, vehicles etc.
