Halo 5: Guardians has a part for Cortana to play, despite the events of Halo 4, Halo series actor Mike Colter told IGN.
Spoiler alert: This article assumes readers have finished Halo 4‘s campaign. If you haven’t, this will spoil a major event for you.
Yesterday I received a box of the sets from Bandai, directly. When I was at New York Toy Fair back in February, I talked with all of the licensees of Halo products.
Yesterday we received $4k towards this. I’m keeping the information as to who confidential per request.
What this means is that we are now at needing $2272. Which is WAY down from needing $11k before we got the new estimate which took us down to $7842. That total was dropped more by the addition of funds we could add to it from our tax refund and a couple of paypal donations. That brought the total to $6272, which is what you saw as of Tuesday early on the gofundme campaign page.
When we got the $4k yesterday, I immediately dropped the needed amount to the $2272 you see as of this writing.
We can see a bit of light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak. However, we are still in need. So any donations will help. If you don’t/can’t donate through the gofundme campaign, you can donate via paypal. Either click the link on the right sidebar from the main page to donate, or better yet, so no fees are taken out, you can send them directly to jedisalpitt2002@yahoo.com and send as a gift. This way we get the full amount of your donation.

The first two days got some donations, but it’s stalled now. My wife and I are seriously in need here. I’m worried that the methane build up might cause the home to blow up. I don’t know if it works like that or not, but it’s something I fear. Not to mention the smell. Where are the grunts to breathe this stuff in, when you need them?
I wouldn’t ask if we really didn’t need your help. Anything helps, even $1.

Microsoft is planning to bring its Cortana digital assistant to iOS and Android as a standalone app. While the software maker has previously confirmed Cortana would come to additional operating systems, Reuters reports that the standalone app will be available on phones and tablets running iOS and Android. Microsoft is currently building Cortana into Windows 10, which is set to debut later this year, and it’s likely that the digital assistant will make its way on to Android and iOS alongside its PC expansion. A few days ago, one of our community members, SaBx DARKHAVEN, started a topic in the Universe forum asking what the chances were that we’d see another book before the release of Halo 5: Guardians. After quelling the usual urge to post a popcorn-eating gif while reading through the discussion, I instead reached in my desk drawer and grabbed my trusty magic 8-ball to find an answer for the question at hand. The bad news? Ol’ Shaky spun up an initially depressing “outcome not likely.” The good news? That’s because you aren’t just getting one new book this year. You’re getting five. Before we get to a few delectable details, notice I said “this year” and not “before Halo 5: Guardians,” so don’t go telling Twitter that “Grim told us the release date.” Were it so easy… So with that out of the way, we’re proud to announce the Halo publishing lineup for 2015 from our friends and partners at Simon & Schuster! The screenshot below was taken from the short vid below that. Here we see Spartan Jameson Locke deboarding what is likely a Pelican. What is that beyond? It’s not Covenant. Wrong color and too angular. Is it UNSC? Looks like a UNSC flag near top middle. Or is Forerunner? 
Also, what’s with that blue glow coming from the mid of his back? Is it the power cell from his mjolnir armor? Or…might it be a new Cortana? (Similar to how she was encased in a tube at the end of Reach) Make note that his rifle does have a skin on it. Will this be something returning to multiplayer or will this be the only one, making this skin standard?
