About Sal

I’ve got tons of experience with Halo gaming and collecting. I feel I have something to offer to the greater Halo fan community. Posts along the way will be about tips and tricks in the games as well as collecting and many more Halo related things. I’ll also repost interesting articles from the official site, Halowaypoint.com, or from fellow Halo fan sites. As I continue this blog, I hope to help gamers who want advice on the games, as well as any collectors with regards to where to find collectibles as well as deals, coupons and so on. UK Halo fans, rejoice! Halo gear near YOU!

I recently found the site gamer-heaven.net. I saw that it was in the UK. Immediately I knew I had to post the info on the blog. After a couple of delays though…I now have that info for you.

Bear in mind that I’ve not bought from this site, so I can not endorse it fully. I’m just making you aware of it, in case you are having a hard time finding Halo merchandise in the UK, or shipping is killing your budget from overseas orders.

Currently, they are having a sale on some of the Halo stuff. So if you want to save even more, check them out.

Here are just some of the Halo products they carry:

Gamer Heaven Halo merch_smI haven’t seen some of these things ANYWHERE. So snag them up UK fans!

If this blog post helped you find Halo merchandise you wanted or didn’t know about, let me know. It’s nice knowing that I’m helping fellow Halo fans.

HFFL Domain / Charity drive!

http://www.gofundme.com/8e358y6t

This campaign is a dual campaign. Every year, HaloFanForLife.com holds a charity fundraiser. This year, I’ve selected once again the Autism Society if Pittsburgh. The other smaller part of this campaign is to raise funds to renew the domain for my website above.

The fundraiser will work as such: funds raised up to $510 will be split evenly between the Charity and my domain fees. Anything over $510 raised will all go to the charity.

The hope is that we can raise even more than the goal amount. I do not charge anything to view my site. There is no secret area, you don’t have to be a subscriber, none of that. I feel as a fan myself, it’s tacky to charge other fans money. So I rely on donations alone.

If you’re a Halo fan, especially if you’ve visited my blog, I hope you will consider a donation. ANY amount is fine. For example, were we to receive just 50 cents from all the people that visit the bug in just ONE day of the year, this goal would easily be reached and then some. HFFL as it’s known in short gets about 3,500 unique hits a days.. That would be $1750 for this campaign.

Please consider a donation. With funds going to Autism Society of Pittsburgh, know that your kindness will be helping kids!

If you are unable to donate through GoFundMe, you can PayPal donations to jedisalpitt2002@yahoo.com. If doing that, please send as a gift so that the full amount is received and no fees are taken out.

The fundraiser runs until September 30 at midnight going into October 1.

If you have ANY questions, please feel free to reply below or e-mail me at sal@halofanforlife.com.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please share with your friends and family.

Halo 5 Guardians trailer ???

I’m not sure of the source for this. It’s presumed to be from a movie theater.

Since copying clips from inside a theater isn’t kosher, if even legal, I’m not posting the video itself. I’ll just give you a LINK to it and you can watch it for yourself. No, I didn’t post this to YouTube.

Community Update: The Light is Green

This is a reblog from Halo Waypoint: (And this one is a GREAT ONE!)

BY B IS FOR BRAVO

PAX Prime has come and gone. Many of you ascended on Seattle, and we prepared a preview of Halo 5: Guardians for your awaiting and capable hands. Warzone designers (in immaculate disguises) watched your first Warzone matches, got real-time feedback, and kept an eye on what was easily understood, and what may require adjustments – UI and player instruction, spawns, routes, sightlines, and more. We reunited with old friends – folks from GrifballHUB, r/Halo, HCS pro players, cosplayers, speedrunners, toy collectors, and many more, and also met new ones, including one gentlemen who played Warzone 17 times over the course of 4 days, waiting in line for over an hour each time. Sean, a special care package is on the way. Note: I almost wrote “car package” in the last sentence. This may have likely cost us considerably more money, and also my job.
