Here is the second of a series of 14 minimalist artwork of Halo characters. I recreated these in Adobe Illustrator using some fun techniques and refining some of the shapes. I tried to use as few colors as possible yet show enough detail so that each character was instantly recognizable.

So did you guess who the third day’s character would be? It’s a fearsome Storm Elite!

I used 6 colors for this particular character. While I did try to take this to only 5 colors, it just wasn’t looking right. I’d lose too much detail. So I stuck with 6 colors and I think it came out pretty good.

Here’s the preview of the day 4 character. Can you guess who it is? Kind of easy from the silhouette huh?

Whew, okay, I’m caught up now. Hopefully I’ll stay on track for the rest of them!

So did you guess who the second day’s character would be? Why it’s Cortana of course, everyone’s favorite Halo Smart A.I.!

As with Master Chief, I only used 5 colors to flesh the lovely Cortana out.
