In 2012, Red Bull sponsored Felix Baumgartner’s world record attempt for highest free-fall.
Not only did Felix beat the previous record by legendary Joe Kittinger, he’s also the first person to ever reach Mach 1, breaking the sound barrier, in a free-fall attempt.
This video is absolutely awe-inspiring. The view is amazing. While I wouldn’t attempt this myself, it’s just exhilarating to live vicariously through Felix’s jump.
Whether you’d agree with him being an ODST or not, this feat is impressive.
